I was craving chocolate the other day (I do more than I should) and happened onto this recipe. It did the trick!
They were super good! Really rich!!
Mounds bars:
2 lbs powdered sugar
1 lb. coconut
1/4 lb. margarine, melted
1/3-1/2 evaporated milk
2 T. vanilla
1 big bag of chocolate chips
Mix all ingredients down to the chocolate. Shape into balls and place on a cookie sheet lined with wax paper. Place in freezer until hard enough to dip in chocolate. (about 30 minutes)
Melt the chocolate chips in microwave, stirring every 30 seconds. Dip coconut balls in chocolate and let set until chocolate hardens. Enjoy!!!
