Mother's day card

I wanted to make a mother's day card, and I saw this cute idea over on the silhouette blog!

And you know how much I love my silhouette, and I use it every chance I can get!

I love how it turned out!

The only thing I did different is I filled in some of the design.
I really like how it made it pop!

Rainbow birthday card

It is my daughter Brooke's 4th birthday today! She is having care bear birthday party today, so I will be posting that next week! This is the birthday card that I made her.

I used a white sketch pen and sketched happy birthday with my silhouette! I love that thing!
Then I cut out the words and used 3-D dots to raise it up.

I took Elmer's glue and spread it all over the clouds and added some glitter to it!

I think it turned out pretty cute!!!

Happy Birthday Brooke!!!

Birthday card ideas

I love to make cards, so I have decided to post card ideas every so often. So, here is the first
My grandma and sister had birthdays coming up so here is the card I did for them.

I used my silhouettte for most of it. It makes it super easy. I cut the actual card and candles with my silhouette, and then just layered different paper, with the candles on top. Then I used brown vinyl to cut out the "Happy Birthday", just because I didn't want to bother with pasting each letter on. Yes, I am lazy! Then I added some ribbon, and that is it!
